How we use your information.
Dona Institute is run by DonaLabs. This page explains, in plain terms, what we collect and why.
Program updates
If you join the updates list, we store your email and anything optional you tell us (name, country, timezone, interests, career stage, and when you might start). We use it to send program news. We only email you after you confirm, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Applications
If you apply, we store your account details, your answers, and any files you upload. A small admissions team reads them to make a human decision, plan sessions, and support you. We do not use automated scoring.
Questions about demographics, citizenship, and pay are optional. They are kept separately from your main application and are not part of the everyday review. You can skip any of them.
Signing up to apply does not add you to marketing emails. That’s a separate choice on the review page.
Who else handles it
We use Convex to store data, Resend to send email, and Cloudflare to serve this site. They process data on our behalf.
Your choices
To get a copy of your information, correct it, or have it deleted, email hello@donalabs.org from the address you used. We’ll confirm it’s you before making changes.
